Stoke City v Crystal Palace- STOKE to win 2-1 @ 10.00
Seeing as the semi-finals of the FA Cup were dominated by Championship teams we thought we’d preview
Stoke are currently second in that Championship and desperate to join the crème de la crème in the Barclays Premiership. Will they be able to climb to the top of the table with a win against 10th placed Palace, who themselves are only 2 points adrift off the sixth and final playoff place.
Both teams have been draw specialists in the last few weeks. Stoke have drawn their last 5 league games while Palace have drawn 3 of their games in that same period. The logical conclusion would be to go for another draw however, as someone once said “it’s a funny old game.”
Stoke welcome back former Manchester United youngster Ryan Shawcross and top goalscorer Ricardo Fuller from suspension. Palace aren’t quite so lucky as their hit-man and therefore main man in Neil Warnock’s hoofball view of how to play the beautiful game is out injured.
This game won’t be one for the football purists but we believe that Stoke will go back to the top of the table with a 2-1 win which available at a very attractive 10.00 .
